Hassan S. Rana, Ph.D.

Three decades in Pakistan Army Aviation taught me one thing above all: documentation is not administration. It is the foundation of operational safety. A maintenance manual with an error does not fail an audit. It grounds an aircraft.

I founded Deura Controls to bring that zero-defect discipline to Pakistan's civil and industrial sectors. As an Aerospace Engineer with a Doctorate in Engineering Management, I sit at an intersection that is rare in this market: deep technical expertise, doctoral-level process knowledge, and 30 years of real operational leadership.

Most consultants are either practitioners or academics. I am both. Eight peer-reviewed publications in international journals. Teaching Operations Research and Supply Chain Management to MS and EMBA students at SZABIST since 2015. And thirty years of actually doing it — managing maintenance operations, restructuring organisations, and producing documentation that had to work under operational conditions.

I believe organisations are only as resilient as their documentation. When the right person leaves, the right document should remain.
